ABOUT US
Niger Welfare Foundation (NWF) began in 1984 and was officially registered in 1995 with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a non-profit charitable organization. Its broad objective is to foster the development of character and spirit of service to the community on the basis of a responsible attitude to work From 1997 NWF worked in the field of health, education, and social development. Currently, it runs amongst four other projects a rural health facility in Iwollo Community, Enugu State.
Iwollo Rural Clinic
Iwollo Rural Clinic is the first in a series of rural clinic that the Foundation hopes to develop. The project which was completed in 2003 provides free medical services for the people of Iwollo. Doctors and or nurses from the hospital visit the clinic daily for consultation and treatment. By far the most important contribution of the clinic to the people of Iwollo has been in the area of health education.
